My Approach

As a person-centred counsellor, I believe you are the expert in your life, even if, at times, you do not feel like this. My role is to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where I hope you feel genuinely heard and valued. I work with the understanding that you have the inner resources needed for personal growth and healing. As your therapist, together, we will explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace, allowing you to reconnect with your strengths and discover new perspectives. At the heart of my practice is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship that aims to empower you to make choices that align with your values and aspirations. Whether you’re seeking support for a specific challenge or looking to understand yourself more deeply, I’m here to walk alongside you at your own pace.

At first, I thought therapy was for getting advice but only through attending therapy I realised only i could take the steps to improve my situation and my mental health. I believe, that speaking with Abbey, helped me to take these as, one by one I managed to overcome my fears and put everything that happened behind me. I can only highly recommend Abbey for her help, support and guidance.
